Happy Christmas from Simplicity Digital.
We are 2 years old! Thanks to all our clients over the past couple of years for their support. Is been a busy couple of years hence the lack of blog posts this year, we really need to sort that out! We have a lot coming up for the next year so keep your eyes out we may actually get around to posting about it and promoting ourselves.
Well its been a full year now since starting Simplicity Digital and I have to thank all our clients for helping getting this off the ground and making this a success.
The 1st year has been all about finding our feet getting a good base from which to move forward. I think we have achieved this now and hopefully in the coming year we will be building upon this.
Once again thanks for everyone’s support.
Its been a while since my last post and I am finally making a some head way with my pet project though its been slower than I hoped just down to trying to fit time in on it between client projects.
For those that haven’t read my previous posts on the subject as a developer who’s work is done on a white label basis this means the majority of what I produce I cannot show to new or existing clients.
As this project serves no commercial purpose other than to demonstrate some of our digital development skills we only get to work on it in out spare time but even so I am happy with our progress the portal itself is coming along with WordPress and the Xenforo forum software integrated together. The integration between the games, the game scoring/ranking backend system and wordpress as the CMS is progressing nicely and in the next couple of weeks we hope to release a couple of early beta versions of 2 of the games to test the games themselves and the integration with the portal. In the meantime here’s a couple more videos of games we have in development for our games portal.
Now we have the decisions on what will be used for the gaming portal and how this will be put together the work is underway to develop this and its now time to start looking at the initial games we will be developing to put on the site. To start as mentioned in a previous article we are aiming for 5 games ready for an official launch 4 of which are already in various stages of development and the 5th is still in planning.
In the post I am going to be roughly outlining what features and sections we wish to see within our gaming portal. These may not all make it into the first release as some may not be feasible for various reasons or we may push back features to later releases if we think it’s going to delay the initial release to long but this will give us a starting point for research and development of the portal.
